The thought of turning 40 was a scary milestone for me. Physical changes, my children leaving the so called nest, realizing my husband and I were now the “old people” at the disco. Then I realized, aging is a privilege not everyone gets. I need to embrace this new age! With confidence, that I have more now than ever. I accept how I am, who I am, and how others view me. All of our lives we spend trying to get acceptance from others when really, it’s only YOU looking back from the mirror!
How do you stay fabulous?Smile. Make others smile. Give compliments and gracefully accept them. Appreciate the small things in life. Make time for those I love. Cherish memories. Continue to be proud of who I am.
