Being over 40 has given me a new perspective of clarity, confidence and self-assurance. At this stage, I'm learning to feel more comfortable in my own skin, more confident in my decisions, and less concerned about external validation. It’s a time of embracing who I truly am, with the wisdom gained from life experiences guiding me. There's a newfound freedom that also helps to emphasize and prioritize what's really important - health, relationships and personal growth.
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous is all about embracing self-care and confidence and prioritizing my physical, spiritual and mental well-being. Cultivating a positive mindset is also key, so practicing gratitude daily, surrounding myself with uplifting people, and continuing to learn and grow helps me to stay fabulous. I embrace my uniqueness and encourage other women to do the same!
What would you do with the $40,000?If I had $40,000, I’d first invest a portion into growing my women's community, Modern Midlife Moxie. I'd use it to enhance the platform's reach and connect with more women in midlife. As an aspiring business woman, I'd love to hire a mentor—someone experienced in scaling online communities and businesses. This would help me navigate the next stages of growth more efficiently. Lastly, I'd keep a personal reserve for self-care and continued ongoing education for future use.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
