What I love about being a woman over 40 is the amount of experience and wisdom I have gained through the years. As women, we experience so much in life but it’s amazing to be able to take those experiences as lessons in life. Those lessons allow us to teach our future generations how to navigate through life and make the best of it. I love the autonomy I have as an independent woman that’s resilient, loving and kind. My wish for all women in the world is to know their worth and find self-love.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by taking care of my whole self; mind, body and soul. I love being active, even at times when I’m so busy with my kids’ schedules, I try to find ways to incorporate physical activity. I enjoy walking my dog, working out at home and going on hikes. I love the outdoors, enjoying the sunshine and nature. For the most part I eat relatively healthy and drink plenty of water. I don’t smoke and drink on occasion. I try to incorporate meditation and prayer into my daily routine.
What would you do with the $40,000?Winning the $40K, will allow me to help my mom finish fixing her house in her motherland, which is where she plans on retiring. With any amount left over, I plan on dividing it even into 4 and start a savings ROTH-IRA account for each of my children. I want to be able to set my kids up with financial independence. I believe that’s the best way I could make use of that money.
