One thing I love about being over 40 is all of the life lessons I learned throughout my life. I think many of the things I've accomplished, I am glad that I am doing them now, such as pursuing my PhD in public health education, even the possibility of starting a family is not out the picture either. I used to think I had to accomplish everything by the time I was 30 but that isn't the case, you're never too old or young to live your fullest life. Age has no limits for dreams.
How do you stay fabulous?I try to stay as active as possible. I enjoy pilates, yoga and taking walks which are my main methods of staying in shape. I also love dancing plus chasing around my two cats helps a bit too. I have Lupus and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, so whatever bit of activity I welcome, when I can exercise. The hardest part was learning my limits but staying active has helped me mentally and physically.
What would you do with the $40,000?I recently left an abusive relationship, I would use it to continue to rebuild my life such as education, and maybe even a well deserved vacation and lastly to help with advocacy work. I would love to help other women know that there are not alone and it is possible to rebuild your life and there is no age limit to that.
