I had my “dream job”, but boss was so evil the stress was slowly killing me. At 45, I quit & opened my own business! Still going strong!

I love that I am watching my daughters now becoming beautiful, independent young women. I still reminisce the little girls of years past, but am SO incredibly proud of these ladies that grew up in my home. Also, at the wonderful age of (almost!) 52, and an “empty-nester”, I love this age as I get to know my husband again. I still like him, and he still likes me!! Together, we’ve done so much life together, now using that foundation to keep moving forward into the next chapter of our lives.
How do you stay fabulous?First, I “stay fabulous” by first recognizing that I AM fabulous!! Why? 1- I am a daughter of the King. My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And with that, I have accomplished the goals and dreams that were the mere wishes of my youth. Then, I have so many more dreams to achieve in the second half of my life! In addition, I STAY “fabulous” by continuing to learn from my students and remaining a life-long learner. Every day has the potential to be the day that launches a dream.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would first prayerfully use a portion of the monies to support programs that provide services for children and families. Personally, I would designate a portion of the monies toward funding the entire process of acquiring a Bone Anchored Hearing Aid (BAHA) so that I may be at my very best in the decades to come for my students…and my family. Lastly, professionally, with the remaining funds, I would work to equip my studio with the best resources possible for the needs of each student.
