56 years wonderful. Raised two boys on my own as a single mom, survived a widow maker heart attack. Living my best life.

I think as we get older, we realize that we don’t have to answer to anyone but ourselves. For women especially, there’s often a tendency to please those around us and be overly nice. But with age comes a clearer understanding of what to say yes and no to, and how to set boundaries. And that’s OK—it’s really OK.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous because I’m surrounded by an amazing group of friends, two beautiful boys, and a wonderful family. Every day, I wake up as a single mom raising two kids on my own, but I know I have the support and love of those around me. At 56, I’m doing just fine—more than fine, actually.
What would you do with the $40,000?If I had $40,000, I’d use it to pay down debt, especially after being out of work for two years. But I’d also take my entire family on a vacation, because in the end, when we’re all gone, it’s the memories that truly matter. I want to celebrate life, and create a special memory together.
