I'm nothing special. I'm just me. Christian, wife, mother, grandmother. Be true to yourself and be a shining light in a dark world.

The wisdom and maturity that comes with age through experience makes every person over 40 fabulous in my opinion. In our youth we make so many mistakes. The good news is that we need to make these mistakes in order to become a better person. It is the wise person that learns from these mistakes and adjusts accordingly to do better. On a lighter note, being over 40 you tend to start living with less regrets and enjoying life more. I now enjoy the little moments a lot more.
How do you stay fabulous? The key is to be true to yourself. Your character speaks volumes. Not allowing social norms or what others think compromise who you are. I enjoy life to the fullest regardless if I'm vacationing, at the gym, or just chatting with my daughter on the phone for hours. Life is too short to be unhappy. Eat the cake, read the book, take that trip, and most of all be sure to show your loved ones how much you love them.
What would you do with the $40,000?My son in law was killed in a motorcycle accident 18 months ago the day before my second grandchild was born. Since then she has hard time in many aspects. I would use the money to help her more financially. I would put some money into our vehicles to make them more reliable or maybe buy a newer vehicle so I can visit my grandbabies more. It would also be nice to take my two daughters and two granddaughters on a family vacation.
