Registered nurse, tanning/aesthetic business owner, care taker for my handicap husband and breast CA survivor
We would like to thank you for supporting Michelle Walton in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
I enjoy having my own business. It was very scary but also thrilling at first. I work with a great group of girls who have helped us to successfully turn a profit in 3 years. I am also a registered nurse who takes a lot of pride in my career. There are many medical changes and advancements and I appreciate that I am privy to such information. As stated before, I am a breast cancer survivor who wants to spread the word about importance of early detection.
How do you stay fabulous?I think the key to staying fabulous is staying healthy in your mind, body, and soul. I do Yoga 3 times a week, red light therapy 3-5 times a week, stay away from my phone, computer, social media for 2 hours a day, and enjoy dessert almost nightly. I believe that taking care of yourself needs to be a priority.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would donate 25% towards the breast cancer foundation. I would also like to give a bonus to my team members at Tranquility Tanning and Aesthetics as they have seen me through what has hopefully been the worst of times for me-diagnosed w breast cancer, my husband in a near fatal accident which has made him an above the knee amputee, the loss of my father- in- law. Possibly invest in some new equipment for my business
