Age does mean wisdom. My younger self definitely had so much to learn despite thinking I knew everything. Life experiences, good and bad, allowed me the opportunity to grow into the mature person I am today. I’m more content with myself which has given me the tools to be more confident and do things outside my comfort zone. I’ve learned to embrace all that life has to offer.My family has grown up and I enjoy having my children as best friends and spending time together making lifelong memories.
How do you stay fabulous?Fabulous has so many definitions. To me fabulous is staying true to yourself and your beliefs. It’s about inner growth. I strive daily to accept that things will not always be perfect in life but at the same time take those experiences and find ways to make something good out of them. I also believe that taking good care of yourself on the outside helps with the confidence and strength needed to grow as a person. No matter our age, we should be learning something every day of our lives.
What would you do with the $40,000?Honestly, I would like to take my husband and my children on a family vacation. Throughout the years we’ve tried so many times but life got in the way. Health issues for my husband, my son, and just financially tough times. It would be wonderful to celebrate all we’ve overcome by going on vacation and enjoying each other. And of course, most importantly I’d utilize some of the money for our foundation, Fightstrong. I’d love the opportunity to have more funds to help those battling cancer.
