What I love about being over 40 is that I KNOW ME. I am confident and secure. The whole part of “life is to short” really resonates with me. I love that I push myself to try new things and really stepping out of my comfort zone. When I entered a bodybuilding competition-I thought many times- what in the actual hellll am I doing?! lol But telling myself that I could do this and having the physical and mental stamina to follow through- well that would not have happened in my younger years.
How do you stay fabulous?A positive energy and attitude. Thanking the universe everyday upon awaking for my life and family- even if it’s not going great- being grateful for what I do have. Then of course eating healthy and exercising. Laughing with others. Walking my dogs. Hanging out with my adult kiddos. Listening to music and just giving me time :) Also- my family is my rock. My mom lives with me. She is 80 and has Parkinson’s. Our conversations daily keep me on track- I mean- I learned how to thrive from the best!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would first off take my mom and sister on a trip :) my sister is 15months younger than me. Last year we both helped foster my nieces kids. It was literally overnight. One day I was a gal with adult kids doing my thing and the next we had a 1, 2 and 7 year old to foster. That is another long story but it did take its toll on my family. My sister and mom both need and deserve some pampering and I would love to do this for them :) And then of course pay off some bills! Thank YOU!
