I am a local hairstylist in Ankney Iowa, mother of 1 and wife for the last 24 years. My 40’s have been amazing as we are empty nesters.

How do you stay fabulous?Well since I’m a hairstylist I’ve got the whole world of color at my fingertips. However beauty or staying fabulous doesn’t always mean looks. I’m huge into education and learning everything I can. Helping others in my industry to become better and successful behind the chair like I have been able to do in my career. Sharing my knowledge that I have with others has been amazing and I would like to keep growing that for the next generation of hairstylists.
What would you do with the $40,000?Honestly, I would take my bestie Madi and I on a fun friend trip where we could both get a little R&R. Maybe an all inclusive resort somewhere near the water. Then I would also like to give back to my industry and help up & coming hairstylist with a small grant/award to get them set up for success when they graduate Cosmo school. I would also like to invest a little back into my business and purchase some stock inventory of hair extensions and take some education to keep leveling up BTC.
