Freedom! Acceptance! Self love! Lessons! After 40 I began to recognize that I don’t need to compete with anyone, that happiness comes from within, that to feel loved I needed to love myself first! Lessons, hard ones like losing a child and having breast cancer are some of my greatest teachers.
How do you stay fabulous?First and foremost kindness! I feel my best when I know That I approach each day with kindness, laughter and love! I exercise 5 days a week, I am a yoga teacher, I meditate, spend time with friends and family and always splash some fun into my sometimes stressful life! Balance is very important!
What would you do with the $40,000?I have been treating for breast cancer now for 4 years. I have had 9 surgeries over a 3 year period so I have debt. I would put some to that, fall of 2025 I will turn 60, it will be my 40th wedding anniversary and God willing it will be the end of my cancer treatment! A nice yoga retreat is my dream to celebrate such big moments in my life! Many women struggle financially during treatment and I would want to give back and help someone with this blessing!
