As I reflect on this journey on turning 40 I’ve come to appreciate the confidence that comes with this stage in life. There’s something freeing about knowing who I am, what I want, and not being swayed by the opinions of others. I love that I’ve gained wisdom from my experiences—both the joys and the challenges—and that I’m still learning every day. I’ve also become more comfortable with my body and the things that make me unique. There’s this growing sense of peace and self-acceptance.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by maintaining a positive outlook, taking care of my mental health, and prioritizing my physical well-being. This balance helps me feel vibrant and confident every day.
What would you do with the $40,000?If I were to win the $40,000, I would first put a down payment on a house, securing a stable home for the future. I would also set aside some money for my daughter’s college education to ensure she has the opportunity to pursue her dreams. Finally, I would put a down payment on a new car, upgrading my transportation to something reliable and efficient.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
