At my age, it’s mind over matter - if you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter! LOL! There’s a calm confidence that happened to me around 55. I stopped obsessing about the things that don’t matter, and started enjoying the things that do. Things like my daughter, my husband, my work, my FAB friends - and all the “little” things that surround me (read: “little” things are BIG happiness providers! Don’t miss them!).
How do you stay fabulous?I actively practice gratefulness. Yep! Try it - it will change EVERYTHING! How? Daily hikes with my dog, lots of yoga (so good for my 63-year-old bones!), eating healthily (knowing that chocolate, of course, is an important food group…), and enjoying a glass of wine (see chocolate, above). Traveling whenever possible - the world is an amazing teacher, and what a fun way to learn! And WORK - I run my own gelateria so I’m busy, and staying busy is a blessing!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would use it to expand and improve Cremalosa, my gelateria. I have big plans for 2025!
