At 40, I conquered my fear of flying by becoming a student pilot. I’m soaring for animal rescues & leading as COO, proving life gets better!

I’m more confident in who I am as a woman. My experiences now let me offer real value to younger women. I feel freer to live authentically and create a life that makes me happy, instead of trying to please others. Being over 40 is liberating—it’s a time where I still have so much life to enjoy, but now with the wisdom and experience to guide me. I’m more present, more grateful, and I appreciate everything far more than I did when I was younger.
How do you stay fabulous?I prioritize both my physical and mental health and nurture positive, healthy relationships with family, friends, and colleagues. I surround myself with those who elevate me and strive to have the same uplifting effect on others. I’m passionate about dog rescue and advocacy, always focusing on what matters most. I challenge myself daily and continue to learn new skills, like becoming a pilot. Staying fabulous means staying engaged, growing, and pushing myself to new heights.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would use the prize to fly rescue missions that transport dogs from state to state, helping them find foster families or forever homes. It’s a costly, volunteer-based effort, and the $40K would significantly support flying as many rescue missions as possible. This prize would fuel my passion for dog rescue and make a real difference in saving more lives.
