I feel my confidence has grown once I reached 40! Having faced loss, overcoming my own life-threatening health issues and now, being a live-in caregiver for my mom ~ all these things put into perspective how aging is a TRUE GIFT not to be taken granted! I try not to sweat the small stuff anymore which in turn. makes me grateful for each day of my 57 years on this earth! I look at past challenges as life lessons and I welcome my future self!
How do you stay fabulous?I truly believe in self-care ~ whether it be a simple mani/pedi, a coffee break with friends, a long, hot bubble bath, prayer, physical activity ~ all these things collectively help me to stay “fabulous”! I also swear by a healthy diet and having regular facials/using good products tailored for my skin, including wearing a daily SPF as I’m a Melanoma survivor.
What would you do with the $40,000?We moved into my mother’s home after her stroke so I could care for her. The home is quite small and aging and in need of repair to make it comfortable and safe for my mom but also a personal retreat for me and my family! I would use the $40,000 to remodel the kitchen and bathrooms, flooring and paint!
