I believe what makes me fabulously over 40, is that I simply love life. Each day is a chance for something new.

Being over 40, you realize that spending quality time with friends and loved ones is really what is important. I think awareness comes with age and wisdom is part of that awareness. I am confident in myself, and that did not happen for me until I was over 40. I love being me. I love the way I look, I love my body, I love life.
How do you stay fabulous?I try to eat healthy and live healthy. My community has a pond that a lot of the residents walk or jog around. I walk with my spouse to stay in shape. I also read to keep my mind fit and active. I love to read cookbooks. I love finding new recipes that not only tastes good, but that are good for you. When I take along a book to read on a trip, my husband laughs, because I take a cookbook to read.
What would you do with the $40,000?My husband is retiring this year, and I have plans to open my own business, and employ women who are single mothers, displaced homemakers, and veterans. Our economy has been rough the last 4 years, and there are people struggling to find jobs that pay them enough for them to make ends meet.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
