Sadly I don’t love it as much as I’d like. Perimenopause has hit me hard and with some of the symptoms I have I am left feeling depressed and have lots of anxiety. I do love how being over 40 allows me to not give too much thought into what people think. I am vocally confident (not physically) when speaking and I do get a lot more respect more so now than in my 30’s. Some may say I don’t look 40 and I thank them for their compliment but I think they are just being nice.

It’s hard for me to stay as fabulous as I’d like to be since I put my kids and husband before myself. I don’t have much money to treat myself weekly and most times I’m ok with that. As long as my family has a smile on their face, I feel fabulous. I sometimes go out with my bestie and dress up but often lack confidence with my outer appearance so I try and pick those nights out sparingly. I wish and hope one day I could be fabulous again.

I honestly would pay off some debt so that my stress levels can decrease and I can start to live life with no worries. I would most definitely get Botox. lol I would take a much needed vacation and treat one of my besties to a spa day. Maybe get a mommy makeover to help give me my sexy body back I had years and years ago, before perimenopause. I would donate something to a single mom who would like to do something for herself but can’t.
