I love that I feel like I know myself more over 40. I feel confident , strong (mentally and physically). I know my worth and I will not lower my standards. I know what I can offer and am definitely ok with being alone if that’s what it comes down to.
How do you stay fabulous?My family, friends and the gym help me to stay fabulous! I lost my father unexpectedly a year and a half ago, and the lesson I learned or took away from the trauma that my family and I experiences is that I can handle much more than I think I can. The gym is my happy place. It’s a place to let the day wash away and be selfish for 45 minutes a day, 5 days a week. My friends are amazing! I learned who my true friends are during this time as well. Without them I’d be lost.
What would you do with the $40,000?With $40,000.00 I would pay off bills and use the rest for a down payment on a house. Put down roots so that I know my mother is taken care of. She and my father were married for 50 1/2 years, together for 52 years and has never lived alone.
