Family, Swimming, Pilates, Hiking, biking Rails to Trails, and paddle boarding, are my go to activities but Volunteering makes me complete!

The freedom of not caring what others think of me, knowing that I am doing exceptionally well considering everything I’ve been through. (I was in a tragic accident that killed my father four days before Christmas of 1999. My mother had just passed months before the accident and because of my head injury I had no memory of her passing. It was a tough time to go through and a lot of surgeries and years of recovery but I made it while raising a three year old from a wheelchair)!
How do you stay fabulous?I swim with the Delmarva Dogfish, our local YMCA Masters Swim Team. I also practice Pilates, go hiking often, and paddle board/kayak. The outdoors brings me much happiness and serenity. I also volunteer at many running events, triathlons, and Ironmans. I just recently joined the American Red Cross as a shelter worker and a supplies distributor where I hope to be deployed to the hard hit regions in the Carolinas, Georgia, and Florida after the very destructive hurricanes of Helene and Milton.
What would you do with the $40,000?$10,000. of the money would be donated to our local YMCA for the Aquatics Dept so they could continue teaching ALL children how to swim! $15,000. of the money would buy a small “used” boat so I can fish and enjoy our local waterways. The last $15,000. would buy a small camper with a toliet and shower so I can travel with my husband to his ultra runs without worrying about weather.
