Feeling freer in my skin than ever before! I was always so hard on myself trying to please people and be accepted by others. The more I tried the worse it got. After years battling depression my goal was to become physically, emotionally & spiritually healthy. My husband was may rock through my mental illness and health battles. I have never felt better than I do at 42 and the best part is “I am who I am, and you get what you get!” It’s a funny thing, when you’re yourself, people like you more!
How do you stay fabulous?My mom modeled health/fitness to me since I was really young. I hated the gym daycare so she would let me co-instruct her aerobics classes (thong leotard and all 🤣) when I was just 10. When I turned 15 I had my own class. Before my businesses, I was a personal trainer and Mrs Fitness USA competitor. Between exercise, committing to work/play life balance, remembering my meds 😂 & choosing to be surrounded by healthy people… I feel fabulous. Life balance was a FAB GAME CHANGER!
What would you do with the $40,000?Growing up in Western, NC my heart is hurting for so many friends and family who have lossed loved ones, homes, and witnessed what they describe as a “war zone” 😣 . If I win I would donate the entire $40,000, split between Helene victims and my mother’s non-profit in Nicaragua (newsongnica.com). New Song supports medical and wellness initiatives in rural Nicaragua, as well as children’s feeding programs in 7 communities. Nothing would thrill me more than to donate to both of these causes ❤️.
