I love the peace of knowing who I am and feeling exceptional about it. At this point in my life, I've lived through enough years to have the experience to understand how to enjoy every moment without wasting energy on stress or perceived disappointment. I know who I am...I know what makes me happy, and most importantly, I know...not to apologize for it.
How do you stay fabulous?Work-life balance: When you love your work, the balance comes easy. I love my work; I've worked my way up to the C-Suite; I'm a producer for feature films and an actress. I'm a self-admitted workaholic. However, over 40 means I've also 'earned' the years not to feel selfish for taking time for myself...yes, I've 'earned' them. I'm also the mother of two incredible, grown sons who keep me 'hip' because this age allows us to slide from mother and son to respected friends.
What would you do with the $40,000?We frequently hear terms like Queen, Boss, and Goddess, which is today's sign of proof' that the preaching of 'lift each other up' is working—which is a beautiful thing. Currently, one of our clients is the founder of OUR Arts Foundation, whose mission is to heal survivors of trauma with artistic expression. The majority of survivors OAF helps are women. I would make a sizable donation to this foundation. The work they are doing is the act that solidifies... 'lift each other up.'
