Taking a bite out of life after a grey divorce; feeling beautiful inside and out; traveling the globe solo in my sixties; travel blogging.

As I’ve aged, I’ve embraced the freedom to live life on my own terms. My career as an educator, and raising three wonderful children has filled me with great pride and satisfaction. Now divorced, I’m discovering who I am based on what I’ve learned in past decades. I have time and freedom now to do what I love: travel, write, sing, dance, socialize, hike, learn, and explore all that life offers! Bring it on!
How do you stay fabulous?Dressing well and showing my unique style makes me feel good about myself. I’m a master at taking pieces I own and reimagining them into fresh new fits! But a good look alone does not fabulous make. The inside has to match so I pair my appearance with a positive attitude, great friends, yoga, and healthy eating. Add a sense of humor, a desire to learn, and a constant lookout for fun and adventure, and, voila! Fabulous!
What would you do with the $40,000?I’m practical, smart, and charitable, so I would divide the money into three piles. I would complete a home project using money from the first pile. A tidy, well-kept home is important for peaceful living. I would invest the second pile safely and wisely. Life is unpredictable and preparation is essential. A nest egg provides a sense of security. I would help someone in need with money from the last pile. Helping others keeps me humble and grounded.
