I love being over 40 because I’ve never been more confident in who I am. I remember being in my 20s & 30s feeling like I hated how I looked no matter how amazing I truly did look. There was so much hate for anyone not a size 2 when I was growing up. I love how our society is embracing women of all shapes and sizes. I don’t feel as tied to my size, to represent me. I knew early in life I would struggle with my weight forever, but beyond that, I’ve let go of so many silly things. Life’s too short
How do you stay fabulous?I focus a lot on being healthy. I used to go for every fad diet, workout like crazy, and never be happy. Now I focus on delicious healthier meals, getting sleep, avoiding toxic people, staying active, traveling, just focusing on what truly inspires me and makes me happy at the end of the day.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would donate to my favorite animal rescue Stray Rescue of St. Louis first. I’m a big animal lover and what they do every single day amazes me. Brings me to tears and they deserve the support. Then I’d help my daughter pay off some of her school loans. She’s in college working hard. And finally take a little vacation with my family. Well needed!
