I’m proud of myself for finding joy after death! I lost my husband to colon cancer in 2021. Now I’m a business owner and happy!
We would like to thank you for supporting Megan Rogalski in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
What I love about being 40 is knowing my worth and not living in fear! I don't care what others think of me and I'm proud of myself for getting to this place. I love taking risks but only knowing in my heart that these risks only help me and my family grow. In my 40s, I feel beautiful, strong, courageous, and confident in who I am. Finding this in me after losing my husband seemed impossible but I'm here to share that there is life after loss.
How do you stay fabulous?I feel fabulous in many ways. Most importantly my confidence in who I am helps me stay true to myself and know my worth. I love strength training, challenging myself to do new things, learning from other amazing women in business, traveling, taking time to rest from the hustle of each day, and of course a facial or spa treatment doesn't hurt!
What would you do with the $40,000?I will put this into the community I'm building through my fitness business. My passion is to share with women and men who've lost a spouse that there is life after losing the love of their life. I am hopeful in creating a program through my gym that provides a space for widowed individuals to come and work out, learn about other healthy coping strategies while living in grief and also find a community to lean, know we aren't alone, and create new connections with others that understand loss.
