The biggest thing I love about being over 40 is finally falling in love with my body & who I am. I started over with my education & career while going through cancer treatment after I finalized my divorce. I am finally becoming who I dreamed of being as a little girl. It feels wonderful to have discovered the independence this opportunity will provide for the second half of my life. I am happier than I have ever been & grateful to give back to others the way I have been supported in this decade.

I stay fabulous by being cognisant of pouring into my cup. I completed my Reiki Master Practitioner training this year. I attend Yoga classes and utilize both practices to incorporate mindfulness into each day. I enjoy walking around the lake where I live and sitting on the dock there to relax. I have always worn eye cream, and now do my full skincare treatment regime. I have enjoyed wearing less makeup and sometimes none at all to work because I enjoy letting my skin breathe more.

I have always put others first and made sure that they had everything that they needed. I would love to have the stability of having an apartment or something of my own. I had to move back home with everything that I was going through. So, I left with just clothing and would appreciate basic household items. I always give back to my community and help others, that is my nature. So, I would have to give some money to help my community food pantry and shelter program.
