We would like to thank you for supporting Maya Owen in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
All the knowledge and experience that I have gained from all the mistakes and blunders that I have made. Life has a way of humbling you (thank goodness).
How do you stay fabulous?I stay grateful, I stay busy, I treat people like I want to be treated, I prioritize my family, when my cup is empty I make sure to fill it back up, and I eat that handful of chocolate at night even though I probably shouldn’t because life is short and sometimes you just gotta treat yourself.
What would you do with the $40,000?I don’t want to win this contest for fame or recognition. I’m a single parent of two awesome kids which is an extremely challenging task. I would use the $40,000 to help give them the education and the life that they deserve. A mother wants nothing more than security for her and her children. I would first take the kids on an educational road trip to see Yellowstone National Park, then use the rest for life expenses and Autism support services for my daughter that insurance doesn’t cover.
