Receive Text UpdatesBelieve it or not, my grey hair. Each one of those strands that lack the lustre and color of my youth, represents payments I made towards others while letting go of myself a little bit at a time. Over time it became a reward. I wear my hair like a badge of honor.
How do you stay fabulous?1) Finding balance. Not just with work or home, but to take little breaks for myself that I've earned after being present for other people for so long. 2) Honesty with yourself before communicating with others is important; it reduces stress. 3) Activities that are full of creativity. Painting, singing, walking, dressing up in costumes for occasions, inspiring others, wood working, gardening, sewing. Anything that keeps the mind active.
What would you do with the $40,000?I don't know that I would do any one thing, when there's so much that could be done with it. My first inclinations to set a little aside for others in need. I can think of a few deserving souls. I also like the idea of going back to school on my own terms without any pressure. But, I've also always wanted to see the Northern Lights. I would definitely fit that in there somewhere. Kayaking under the stars during aurora borealis.
