The freedom to be unapologetically me. Being able to pursue building a legacy for my family; having enduring relationships with my adult children and supporting them as they blossom into competent professionals who are contributing positive changes to the world. Being the catalyst and support to younger women who are finding their purpose and confidence to do hard things and show up for themselves.
How do you stay fabulous?I remain grateful for every life experience, learning and growing through successes and challenges. Pray and constant focus on being mindful of my thoughts and self-talk helps me to course correct when outcomes are not ideal. A little self care daily and lots of love from my family and small circle of friends keeps me glowing and my disposition cheerful.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would use the funds to open a residential home care facility for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. There is a concerning lack of these resources in the communities I serve. I am determined to close the gap on these services.
