Being able to age is a gift - not a guarantee. I am grateful for all my experiences- positive ones but especially the negative ones. Positive experiences allow us to feel joy and all the good feels but they don’t provided the opportunities that negative experiences do. Negative experiences provide a chance to learn and grow to become a better version of ourselves. I love that being over 40 I continue to do just that- renew and refine who I am to be the best version of me.
How do you stay fabulous?I think that staying fabulous for me means being confident in the choices I make for myself, whether that is making the time to take care of my body and mind while balancing my desire to be everything to everyone. It has taken me a long time to realize that making time for myself positively impacts my overall health and well being.
What would you do with the $40,000?First, I would plan an amazing family vacation. I would want to go away and have an adventure with my husband and four children. Second, I would buy tickets for my four sisters and myself to go see my Mom in Florida. My 87 year old mom would love to have her five girls under one roof for some time. Third, I would put small down payment on an apartment in Denver where my oldest daughter lives so I could visit more often and the rest would go into my fun days fund. What a dream that would be.
