I am fitter and healthier than I have ever been. I am able to accept who, how and what I am physically and mentally. I am finally accepting that growing older is a blessing that includes wisdom and strength from hardships and the blessings of family and friends. I have learned that I can and I love that!
How do you stay fabulous?I take time to do some activity every day. Moving my body and doing my part to maintain my body (my soul’s home) is my self care. This includes searching for balance in all I do. Nutrition, exercise, environment, work, friendships, community, helping others. In other words taking care of the whole.
What would you do with the $40,000?I am working on a Masters in Social Work. Mental health is an area of great need. I will use the money to pay loans and continue. I had to put that goal on hold this year. I also have some home repairs that need done. However, getting the masters degree is a goal that just will help me to continue my growth and help others.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
