Being over 40 I feel comfortable and confident in letting my inner light shine through. I finally feel empowered by all the aspects of my personality even the perceived flaws. I have always been blessed with incredible older women in my life. These women have been a shining example of the strength and beauty a woman can carry within herself and share with the world around her. As a single mother to a teenage daughter, I find it fulfilling to carry that same torch for the generations to follow.
How do you stay fabulous?I believe true beauty radiates from the inside out. So I make sure to nurture my body, mind and spirit. Meditation is a big part of my life and it infuses deep peace into every aspect of my being. As a massage therapist I spend a lot of time taking care of others and helping them take better care of themselves. I practice what I preach! I love to take care of myself and I invest in my well being daily with many self care practices. Taking baths is one of my favorite indulgences.
What would you do with the $40,000?As I mentioned above I am a massage therapist and have been for over 22 years. My work is very physical and has caused some wear and tear on my body. I would use some of this prize money to pour back into myself and get some treatments I have been needing. I would also use some of the money to take my daughter on a trip for her sixteenth birthday this year. A trip that could provide so many lifelong memories for us both.
