MARTINE YOUNG

Well, I don’t love ALL of it—but I do feel more secure in my steps. I feel accomplished. I feel like someone younger women can look up to and emulate while still being a student of life and looking up to others myself. I definitely feel older woman sexy/confident/worldly in a way that only comes from experience. I feel more free to say what’s on my mind and manifest what’s on my agenda. In short: Man, I feel like a WOMAN. (Shout out to Shania Twain. 😉)

I (try to) work out and stay active. I (try to) eat right and drink water. I (try to) stay grateful and positive. I laugh and smile and dance. I pay no attention to fashion “rules” and curate my own style, blending trends and my own aesthetic. I (try to) live life in the moment, feel what I feel, exude what I want to exude. (And I only use the most natural-looking filters for my selfies. 😂)

I might use some of it toward a down payment on a cozy new place, where I can create the space I envision for THIS part of my life. I might get a neat nip here/a teeny tuck there. I might take a little trip to Argentina to see my son play basketball. I might throw a party planner-planned party. I might give to a women’s health organization. And my mother. And I might save the rest—if there’s any left—for a rainy day. Who knows? (How ‘bout you vote for me, so I can win and find out…) 😅😘
