What do you love about being over 40?

The thing that I love more about being over 40 the wisdom, the maturity, and the strength with wich I now face difficulties. I love that I am not longer a fragile woman and that my word does not break with anything. Also I love that even though I have many things that inspired me, I also become a woman who inspires.

How do you stay fabulous?

I went through thing that almost broke my heart, a kidnapping at my 23 and I was widow at my 25, but what kept me and keeps me fabulous is the support of the people who love me, my daughter, my career as a MD and now the desire to adapt to this wonderful country, to learn something new like a language and culture. Because thanks to them I learned to have faith in what I do and in what I want to continue achieving, I learned to love myself a lot and trust in myself.

What would you do with the $40,000?

I would use the money for invest in my education in the U.S. I did my Doctor degree in Medicine in Mexico and the cost of the courses, books and steps to be able to revalidate my career are very high. I love being a MD and my dream is to revalidate my career here and help people with their health and especially those who have a language barrier like me. Maybe with the rest I would buy a car because I get up at 4am to be able and o get to work at 8am.
