What makes me fabulously over 40? I would say that it is my ability to never give up while dealing with lupus since 2001.

I love being over 40 and being able to the beat the odds of life. Many times I thought I wouldn't make it due to being diagnosed with lupus in 2001 but I did. Seeing 40 is a huge blessing for me and enables me to thrive in a body that I didn't know could keep me alive. I love being able to see a new day and being able to influence others not to give up on themselves. Life is meant to be lived and it is honor to have lived 41 years and remain healthy and strong.
How do you stay fabulous?The gym has always been a way for me to stay strong and healthy. I am also an acrylic painter in my spare time and believe that creativity keeps the mind and soul young.
What would you do with the $40,000?Honestly my dad would be able to benefit from it.he needs spine surgery in order to get the feeling back in his legs and hands. The money would be to help him get the right surgeon to get the best medical care. It would mean the world to him and to me to be able to help him walk properly again. The funds would give him access to medical care and after care that would help him heal and not have to worry about funds to get better. He has done so much for me while I was laid off for 10 months.
