I’m actually over 50 but one of the things that I love about being over 40 and 50 is that you stop trying to prove yourself to people. You work really hard, get educated, thrive in your career, take care of your family and then you just get to enjoy it. That’s where I am now. I have worked really hard and now I just want to enjoy the fruits of all that labor. And I don’t feel like I need permission.
How do you stay fabulous?I surround myself with people that love me the most, my family. I also still really love what I do for work and enjoy the people that I do it with. I also invest in myself now. Whether that be clothing, skin, care, etc.. I allow myself that investment and I don’t feel bad about it.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would allow myself a little bit more of that self-love. Fighting aging gracefully, but with a little help. And the rest of the money I would use to invest in purchasing a family home.
