I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in 11/2023. My mother and grandmother both died from this disease. I will be the miracle.

I am grateful to be 46, as my mother who is the strongest person that I know, died at the age of 40. She also had the same disease that I am actively battling on a daily basis. I am truly blessed to say that I am a breast cancer survivor. Although, I am battling this disease I still have my faith, charisma and my sassiness. This is what makes me love being over 40, I still have more life to live despite my situation.
How do you stay fabulous?I believe in self-care and loving myself for who I am….perfectly imperfect. Having metastatic breast cancer has changed my outlook on life. I am also a plus size woman who embraces every curve of my body. I pamper myself by traveling, having spa days and simple appreciating the little things in life. I am also very spiritual, this helps my mental status stay grounded and healthy. There are a couple of phrases that I live by to stay fabulous, “Not easily broken” and “This too shall pass”.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would first give back to the charities who have helped me out the last year. Without these agencies, I would have potentially been homeless. I will be forever grateful and this is why I would bless them like they blessed me. This will also give other women and their families financial support as they go through their journey. I would also love to go to Singapore, as I have heard it is breathtaking. Of course, I would invest some of the money, so that I have a security blanket for my future.
