Since turning 40 I've tied the knot with the love of my life. I still have time to serve, learn, grow, love, and receive love in return. Have you ever driven while a song plays on the radio, listened to the lyrics, and allowed memories to wash over you like Minnie Riperton's "Memory Lane"? Before you know it, 10 years will come and go faster than the previous twenty! Sure, there are challenges, but the good days outnumber the bad.
How do you stay fabulous?We as women have many beauty regiments and have done every routine imaginable. I am no different. I stay fabulous by doing what works for me. I wear many hats but I am a Barber by profession. I’ve spent most of my natural life in the world of beauty. When I turned 50, I decided to compete. Besides immense gratification I’ve experienced for myself, nothing compares to the true satisfaction and pride I receive from teaching and training others.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would use this money to sponsor women and men who want to get in shape. I would invest in the tools, products, and experiences that have worked for so many in my life. While being a member of nationally known gyms I’ve learned a thing or two about the type of experience a person needs to have and keep them coming back. I provide a holistic approach to getting in shape.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
