Age is a state of mind. I enjoy the wisdom that my 40s have afforded but stay active like I’m in my 20s. I’m an artist and unconventional!

In my twenties I spent a lot of time thinking about my future and planning for it. Peer pressure was overwhelming at times and that dictated a lot of my choices. In my thirties, I learned a lot about myself and learned some control. Now in my 40s, I do what I want. I have the wisdom I have learned over the years and the carefree attitude that lets me enjoy life. I still want what I have always wanted but I have the self-control to choose what is right for me. No two people's paths are the same.
How do you stay fabulous?I work hard to keep my mind young. If I want to have purple hair, I do. If I want to listen to a certain song, I do, and sometimes that means the people around me get to hear it too. I am not afraid to laugh and I am living every day to the fullest. Some days that means lounging in bed and relaxing while other days, I am exploring new places. I give myself the right to enjoy the day the way I need to and not worry about other people's opinions.
What would you do with the $40,000?This last year I have been sick off and on. I spent 9 weeks in the hospital and there were times that my family did not know if I would be okay. I am still here and if I win the $40,000 it would be used to pay for my degree in Art and Medicine and take a much-needed vacation. I want to give back to the medical community and bring Art to others while they go on their medical journeys. When the spirit is uplifted the body follows.
