Hi. I’m 56 yo, a retired Oncology Nurse. I’m proud to retire early after being in the profession for almost 16 years and working 2 jobs.
We would like to thank you for supporting Maria Magdalena Lacson in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
What I love about being over 40 is my ability to be more confident and wise in my decisions. Also, I have enough experiences now to share valuable lessons that I learned in the past so others may benefit from them. Being over 40 brought me the chance to see that my children are now successful in their own professions. All of these contributed in making my heart full and warm.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by trying to take care of myself, my family and my environment. Being fabulous is a result of a lot of factors. My present state of contentment in life leads to my happiness which further emanates a fabulous aura of myself.
What would you do with the $40,000?If I win the grand prize of $40,000.00, I will be able to help some children back home in their education. Another portion of it will be donated to the Oncology Department of my former employer and the remaining portion will be to help me in my retirement so I will have the chance to see beautiful places in the world with my husband.
