What I love most about being over 40 is the sense of strength and clarity that I’ve gained through my life experiences. As a survivor of domestic abuse and infidelity, and having had to take on adult responsibilities early on as the oldest daughter without much parental support, I’ve learned how resilient and capable I truly am. This stage of life has empowered me to take ownership of my story, heal my wounds, and grow into a version of myself that is more confident, unapologetic, and free.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by prioritizing self-love, healing, and growth. I focus on my mental, emotional, and physical well-being, and embrace life with gratitude and confidence. Staying true to myself, setting healthy boundaries, and surrounding myself with positive energy keep me thriving!
What would you do with the $40,000?With $40,000, I would invest in creating resources and support for women healing from domestic abuse and infidelity. I’d develop programs focused on empowerment, mental health, and rebuilding self-worth, as well as contribute to shelters and organizations that help survivors reclaim their lives. This would be my way of giving back and helping others rise from their pain, just as I have.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
