If I had $40,000, I’d love to say I’d do something fun, but that wouldn’t be the case. My grandmother is almost 100 and suffering from dementia. My parents, in their 70s, still work every day while caring for her. I’d use the money to help them pay off debt and hire a private nurse for my grandmother. This would ease their load and bring them closer to the retirement they’ve earned. I’m young and can still work for my future, but they’ve given so much and deserve to rest now.
