Navigating through the traumas in my life remolded me into the resilient superwoman I am today. I have made such a difference in the lives of so many young people by letting them know we all have the power to conquer the adversities that come our way.
How do you stay fabulous?Being and staying Fabulous starts within! Having a positive life means grounding with my higher self and the Lord. It allows me to understand better what self-care means to me. It's about more than just eating the right foods and working out. It's about advocating my values and self-worth and showing immense compassion and understanding of the challenges people go through. Lastly, I love to keep a smile on my face!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would invest the money in my mother's self-owned salon and boutique. As an immigrant who traveled from Cape Verde to America for a better life, she worked very hard to establish the first Cape Verdean-owned salon in 1987. Marcia's Beauty Salon Inc. has been serving the community for 37 years. The epidemic sufficiently impacted the businesses, and that money would assist her in keeping her business flowing.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
