I love that I am at a stage of life where I can dig into my passions and bravely try new things because...why not? My bravery encourages and inspires my friends and kids to remember that it's never too late to try, and it also gives me an opportunity to share in their victories and celebrate with them when they try, too! I have experienced so much in life already and yet, I still feel like I have the world at my feet.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by trying my best to love myself as much as I love others. As much as I love hosting, making people feel beautiful, and sitting with people to process life, I know I need to fill my tank too. To do that, I meet with a therapist every other week, and I try to protect my carved-out family time and date nights as much as possible. I also try to give myself "me time" by going to the gym a few times a week and making sure I don't skimp on my own self-pampering days.
What would you do with the $40,000?With $40,000 I would pay off my student loans, invest in more schooling so I can finish the degree I started (criminology), and put braces on me and my kids because with $40,000 we will finally be able to afford them! There are many bills and charities I would also love to use these funds for, but these are the top priorities I would start with.
