I’ve thought about this answer for a while. In the end, what makes me fabulously over 40, is that I try to listen to my guardian angels.

I love that I have past experiences to draw from. Life has its challenges with its curveballs, foul plays, faults and even double faults. I have competed with others growing up from school or community. Currently, competing with myself, to see how I can just get a little healthier, I can make it more fun.
How do you stay fabulous?I awake to a grateful heart. I thank God. I try not to indulge in excess of anything. I listen to music. I dance. I take advantage of walking. I also do yoga and Zumba once a week. Not only do I admire today’s numerous advice engines, I remember the women of my life, past and present, drawing from their examples of courage and strength. If anything, they had grit. I believe they passed it on to me. Grit keeps you going forward. Grit and my guardian angels keep me staying fabulous.
What would you do with the $40,000?As a single mom, parenting comes first always. Whatever is left, I’d like to bring my children to visit family and to experience the culture in the Philippines. We lost my Mom, their Lola, a few years ago. Together, with my children, I’d like to bring her ashes to the place she loved and left for the promise of a brighter future for her and her young daughter. She was a single parent to me for so long and then was proud to help raise her three grandchildren. We want to do this for her if we can.
