We would like to thank you for supporting Lynne Harrison in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
Learning to not sweat the small stuff.!!! my husband had a TBI (I was 41) I taught him how to walk, talk, read, and write and started a Nat’l brain injury FDN raising tens of thousands of $ to support rural outreach prgrms for pple with brain injuries. My son dev’t schizophrenia, I lost him to the streets/addiction, but fought to get him back. 2.5 years ago my husband had to be placed in dementia care. Realizing everyone is fighting a battle expands your ability to show up for others
How do you stay fabulous?I exercise every day. Replenish with good food. No alcohol. Choose happiness. I say YES to great opportunities! My clothing company ALCHEMY OF RIDE (based on my art) produces surf, cycle and skiwear. I have ambassaors who exemplify healthy, positive lifestyles. Compassion and LOVE are my go to. I know that the person living on the street is someone’s child, brother, daughter. I try to have FUN - so critical to staying happy and healthy.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would donate the money to the Bow Valley Homeless Society (Banff/Canmore Canada) . Having a son with severe mental Illness is devastating not knowing where they sleep/stay especially in winter. This money would go a long way towards providing seed money for a permanent safe place for the unhoused in the Bow Valley (Canmore/Banff Alberta).
