Everything! I love the confidence that I feel, the joy of being a grandma, the pride I experience celebrating my adult children and their successes, and feeling oh so comfortable in my own skin! As a younger woman I thought about the ideal me that I wished to present to the world. With each new decade my authentic self is far more concerned with love, peace and embracing life. There is such freedom and wisdom in aging.
How do you stay fabulous?I drink a gallon of water a day, I walk, and I attempt to eat clean. One of my favorite activities is to interact with nature once a day. There is a peacefulness that occurs in just being outdoors. Mostly, however, I truly believe it’s my positive attitude and outlook. We all have challenges, I truly do try to look at them as a way to grow and learn. I’ll always have a past, a present, and a future. I look at each day and every experience as a gift that I just unwrapped, and will cherish.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would love to invest in a little something, that I could visit regularly, by the sea. Being on the beach brings me peace and hope. The idea of having a small, intimate Thanksgiving with those closest to me followed by a walk near the ocean would be a dream come true.
