I am a survivor of domestic violence and recently beaten the odds of colon cancer. Through it all I remain to foster children in my home.

The knowing. Knowing what I know now, and not the life that I thought I knew in my twenties. Life taught me that I knew nothing. I discovered in thy getting, get all understanding. That's the wisdom of a aged woman. I love the freedom in making my own choices without the worries of making a mistake. I love the fact that I can look in the mirror and say, "Oh, how she have grown ". I love the idea that there is beauty in being over 40 and I don't need to be afraid.
How do you stay fabulous?I focus on engaging in activities that will enhance my well-being. I maintain my stress level through bible studies, prayer, meditation and listen to music. I don't smoke nor drink alcohol. I'm learning to eat healthier. I do weekly facials and cleansing. I love walking. It helps relieve me from anxiety. I'm a firm believer that you should always try to maintain your outward appearance. Also, being around like minded people that makes you laugh is a plus. Laughter is good for the soul.
What would you do with the $40,000?That's a difficult question for someone who desire to do so much for others. I would pay my tithes. I have a sister who has some setbacks due to Covid. She's in need of a car and I would pay mine off. I've been a safe haven home for young women and girls since I was 16 years old I contine to foster girls in need unto this day. The remainder would be used to assist those who have been disenfranchised. There is a great need for clothing, undergarments, footwear, winter coats and toiletries.
