The insecurities and concern over others' criticism have become much less important. I feel good in my skin and content with the human I have become over time. Still have many more things to learn, but the beauty of giving myself grace and making ME a priority has a wealth of benefits that extend into my relationships, work and every-day interactions with people.
How do you stay fabulous?I'm easily 100 lbs overweight, still have "baby weight" and my "baby" is 15!! But, I know how to dress in a way that compliments my coloring and shape, and with a great pair of sunglasses, a fabulous splash of lipstick, and a great smile, I feel great! Ultimately, people remember how you make them feel. So if you conduct your interactions with kindness and respect at the forefront, people will remember you as beautiful, no matter what your size or shape.
What would you do with the $40,000?In 2018 I was laid off from a company I'd been with for 15 years due to a corporate merger. Since then, I've been laid off six times from other companies due to COVID, global economic challenges, businesses shutting down, etc. As a result, the savings I'd accumulated has disappeared and I feel as if we're one more disaster away from losing our home and much more. So, I would spend a bit for a nice 3-5 day trip with family, then SAVE the rest!
