I'm living my best life! Approaching 60, I know who and whose I am. Everyday is filled with song, and sunshine even in the midst of storms.

In my late 20's my life was filled with despair and suicidal thoughts. I never dealt with molestation at the ages of 3 and 7. So I had trust issues and lived in misery. However, in my 30's I married an incredible man, had a bouncing baby boy, and received spiritual counseling and professional therapy to manage depression. Nearing 60, I am living, thriving, and enjoying my life. Now, I counsel, advocate, and fight for the voiceless and most vulnerable. I believe, I'm alive to serve others.
How do you stay fabulous?I live a simple life, maintain good health. and draw on my faith to overcome life's challenges. Definitely, I surround myself with positive like-minded people who love peace by not sweating the small stuff, and loving people (a smile and a hug can make a difference) Also, I have an amazing career teaching special needs students ( going on my 18th year). I learn so much from my students because they love, forgive, dance, and see beauty in the simplest of things...even an ant. Lol!
What would you do with the $40,000?1. Support our new church that my husband and I started with more outreach programs. 2. Support organizations I'm already involved in and others that rehabilitate, feed, clothe, educate, and reintegrate survivors back into society. Also, donate to my friends with cancer. 3. Provide more hands on learning activities for my special needs students. 4. Support elderly members in my family. 5. Spend time with my family on a needed vacation. We work, work...
